In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

My Goal At Age 67, 5/23/12

My goal at age 67 is not necessarily to live a long life, but to live a life in which I am able to do the things that really matter to me. A sense of purpose is vital, as is being needed and to live a life of personal growth and one that benefits others as well.

As 67, my mind is sharp and my body is in remarkably good condition, healthy and strong. Thank God. And I enjoy each day, offering a little love, a smile and words of encouragement to those I meet, and sometimes a literal pat on the back, for this is a joyous way of making this world a bit better, one person at a time.
