In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

"One Happy Cameron"

Last night Anne's and my 8 year old grandson Cameron and his 5 year old sister Carina joined the weekly Saturday night dinner we host at Chicago for Ribs.

Later, his mother Maria told me that Cameron had told his dad that when he goes to Chicago for Ribs, "Chicken strips, fruit and ice cream make one happy Cameron. Of course hearing what he said touched my heart.

Today, Sunday Cameron's basketball team won its first game after having lost 8 or 9 games, as Cameron scored two baskets in a 19 to 16 win. Once again there was a very happy Cameron as he and his teammates celebrated their victory.
