In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

A Spiritual Connection, 2/5/14

This is the second time I recall this has happened in this form, the first was 1/16/14 at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel. Today it was about 5:25 am and as I laid in bed relaxed, suddenly I felt:

--- A surge of energy
--- A tingling all over my body
--- An awareness of now and its presence and yet the feeling of a Higher Dimension
--- A feeling like a sense of Nirvana - however brief for it ends too soon
--- This time was perhaps seconds - powerful, peaceful
--- A connection with those in spirit

Afterward I'm refreshed, alive.

I'm posting this on 2/19/14 from my notes written right after this experience occurred on 2/5/14. It is now happening with some regularity during meditation and I'm grateful each time it does. It is a potent reminder that life is a spiritual journey and that we can connect with our spiritual selves and with those in spirit rather than in body, as a vital part of our journey.
