In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Captivated By Nature's Perfume

Just a few moments ago, I stood among a sea of roses and an intense line of jasmine, so many of these flowers in bloom in the Spring sunshine.

As I closed my eyes, their magnificent perfume captivated me and for that instant it was as if I had gone to heaven for it must have been a heavenly body that created such a scent.

This little piece of heaven is there for each of us if we but open our hearts to it as it beckons to us in our life's journey.
