In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Cameron's Piano Recital, 12/7/13

On Saturday, 12/7/13, Anne's and my 8 year old grandson Cameron was one of the performers in the Hills Academy Holiday Recital. He played the piano beautifully and his two songs were recorded by his Uncle Kyle for all of us to enjoy time and again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Koda9wZGMwY

Cameron's songs were, "The House of the Rising Sun" and "Tum-Balalaika." In addition to his music, we will also enjoy seeing what Cameron looked like when he was 8 years old.

The Recital had an audience of about 80 people and counting Cameron, 24 children performed.

The Kazan family turned out big for Cameron, as Cameron's parents and 5 year old sister Carina were joined by Kyle and 13 year old Keoni, his Uncle Kevin and Aunt Melody and their two children, Brody 8 and Gannon 6. His cousin Terri was also there in addition to Anne and me.

Afterwards, we all went to the Panera Bakery to talk and eat, while the kids had fun playing together, with all of them centered around Keoni.
