In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

"If I Was An Inch Taller"

Recently when I picked up my 9 year old grandson Cameron after school and drove him to his karate class in my red tiny two seater Mini Cooper convertible, it was a beautiful sunny day and I had the top down.

Sitting next to me, Cameron began to adjust his body within the confines of his belt restraints and announced, "If I was an inch taller, I could drive this car."

The car is tiny, and at only nine years old Cameron isn't very big, but as I looked at the space involved I told him I thought he was probably right, although he might have to be a few inches taller.

But Cameron and this tiny red car, which one woman not long ago told me looks like "A Disney Concept Car" appeared to be made for each other.

Note: These are what I recall Cameron's words as being.
