In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

"Is This Where Big Foot Lives?"

Today is Mother's Day Sunday and Anne's and my son Kevin brought his family to our home to join us in celebration of this special day.

It was clear and sunny, nearly 80 degrees and we, including our daughter in law Melody and grandsons Brody age 8 and Gannon age 6 played ball in our backyard.

Then we flew balsa wood airplanes at nearby Montemalaga School, where the boys with joy also played on the monkey bars, slides, etc. and played tetherball.

We all had a wonderful time.

But while walking to Montemalaga School, Brody and Gannon began running through an area so heavy in pine trees and other plantings, from under a shaded, sheltered, darkened area Brody called out, "Is this where Big Foot lives?"

We were having so much fun, that had Big Foot lived there, and if he was friendly, we probably would have brought him along with us to Montemalaga School.
