In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

"See You Later Gator"

Nearly every Saturday night for many years, Anne and I have hosted dinner for ourselves and among others, her mother Mary, soon to be 92 and for Fay Ward, soon to be 100.

Today when I confirmed Fay for dinner she expressed how much those dinners mean to her and in a very happy and energetic voice concluded our conversation by saying, "See you later gator," which made us both laugh and Anne as well after I shared this with her.
