In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

I'm At Peace

Tomorrow Anne and I leave for Honolulu where a hurricane has been heavily reported in the news media is going to hit on the day of our arrival.

Some people have nervously raised this point with me.

But I'm at peace, focused only on the now, this moment, today.

I don't control what nature may do or not do. And if the situation were dangerous, our airline, United Airlines wouldn't allow our plane to leave.

Worry projected on what we don't control is a wasted emotion. But joy is welcome at any time.
