In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

In Meditation: A Vision Of A Man

Late this afternoon as my meditation of about 25 minutes was coming to an end, in a sort of dream state I saw an extraordinary man.

He had silver gray hair about the length of Mark Twain's but more orderly and wavy. He had a beard that matched his hair color that covered the lower part of his face, but did not go much below it.

He was wearing a brilliant blue robe and had bright red material wrapped around his shoulders and top part of his body, somewhat like a shawl.

He looked briefly at me but seemed otherwise involved in thought. Seeing this man gave me a sense of peace for reasons I cannot explain and I wish we could have had a conversation.

Perhaps we will have that conversation at another time.
