In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Carina Balloon Photo, 11/10/15

On Tuesday (11/10), Anne and I hosted our son Clayton and his son Cameron, age 10 and Carina, age 7 for dinner at Ruby's Diner in Palos Verdes.

A "balloon lady" was there and she made balloon figures for Carina, which you will see in the photo below, taken afterward by our daughter in law Maria.

Maria posted this caption with the photo, "What you get when you go to Ruby's Diner with Grandma and Grandpa."
