In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Family Photo, Hills Academy Halloween Recital, 10/31/15

This photo is of all of us who were present at the Hills Academy Halloween Recital.

It does not include Anne's and my son Kevin and his family because his and Melody's sons, Brody, age 10 and Gannon, age 7 had soccer games conflicting with the Recital.

Anne and I attended in part, Brody's game shortly after this photo was taken.

I always appreciate how supportive family members are as they attend recitals, sports events and other activities, even when it may be difficult or inconvenient to do so.
