Our Easter/Passover Celebration was wonderful. Anne and I hosted it and it was attended by 17 people including our three sons and their families.
In our playroom is a child's basketball set, with a five foot high rim. Our three year old grandson Ikaika (pictured below, asleep at dessert time) loves to play basketball.
At one point, he came to our 10 year old grandson, Cameron, took Cameon's hand and said,"Would you play basketball with me? You are my best friend."
Of course Cameron played basketball with him.
For me, any pretense that brings people together to celebrate life is really the occasion by whatever name it's called. And everyone had a good time, which warmed my heart.

In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.
