In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Exercising Control Of One's Self

With so many real estate investment opportunities, it is very tempting to jump in and start negotiating deals. But fortunately, Anne and I have an extremely capable and successful real estate investor and property manager son Kyle, who is outstanding at this.

And Anne is superb at selecting and evaluating properties and negotiating the deals as well. This leaves me to be what I most desire to be, a smiling and supportive, loving person. For today my focus is in the great joy of writing and sharing ideas with others, as we all strive for spiritual growth.
