Through this life and lives that have preceded it, as a teacher I have a world of valuable knowledge to share.
But as a student, there is so much I need to learn. To learn those lessons, I must cast out my biases, such as one's appearance, one's economic status, one's supposed youth and other foolish delimiters and listen and observe.
As a result, I can decide for myself what is true and applicable to my needs. And the more I learn as a student, the greater my personal growth and the more I have to offer as a teacher.

In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.
