Starting in early August, our grandsons Brody 8 and Gannon 5 began swimming at the Akai Swim School each morning Monday through Thursday.
The little guys are having a wonderful time as their mother Melody watches over them joined at times by their dad Kevin when he is not at work.
Anne and I join one or two swim sessions a week just to enjoy the little boys in the fleeting time they are so small and to enjoy Melody, and Kevin as well when the opportunity presents itself
At the end of the swim time, the boys love to go to the machine that dispense chips, cookies and candy and Anne and I love to fill their little fingers with quarters so they can have whatever their hearts desire.
As Melody said on 8/14, "They love their treats." And of course we love treating them.

In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.
