In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Brody Scored A Goal, 9/28/13

In yesterday's soccer game between Brody's team the Silver Bullets and the powder blue jersey Blasters, with the help of his teammates Anne's and my grandson 8 year old Brody scored a goal.

In this league no score is kept and in any case the score would have been about even. It was a lot of fun to watch this game particularly as all the kids appeared to have a good time playing and everyone played extensively on this beautiful sunny day.
