In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Jesus As Superman

In mankind's thought process Jesus had to be superman, he couldn't be just Jesus.

For why else would people follow his teachings or build shrines to him or create giant church organizations with treasuries to match if he wasn't superman, the son of God.

To build a following he had to be born to a virgin, make miracles and rise from the dead.

The Pope as his representative became infallible, while heading a huge male hiarchy that granted no voice to women, brutally punished any opposition and in some cases, molested children.

But I love Jesus' wisdom in The Sermon On The Mount:

No threats, no intimidation, but an inspired man who preached love, kindness, peace, forgiveness and goodwill for all mankind
