In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Possible Prostate Cancer

Last week I had a blood draw and yesterday, I learned my PSA is 4.73, well above my safe level range of 3.0 where I have been for many years. 

I will now proceed with medical care to see what is next. As I begin this path, I am hopeful and happy.

Update 5/21/25, Wednesday. 

Last Friday I received the test results from a new blood test. My PSA was 3.70, back on high side of the safe zone, although still higher than my long-term norm. Still, it is very good news. I see the doctor May 29th.
