In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

I Love You

This morning (8/5/25), I did what I should do much more often. I told some of those closest to me that I love them, specifically Jon Barnes, Yanin Ontiveros and Mary Ellen Schesser.

There is nothing more important than love, and expressing love as often as possible, touching hearts wherever we go.

As an expression of love, I do that each school day morning greeting people, and I do it in grocery stores, restaurants and every other place I go.

And I live by the adage of DeeDee Volgelsang, in whose obit I saw, "Life is a spiritual journey of unconditional love." It truly is!

With Love To All - Dick
