It's interesting how often as events take place how little we understand their impact, until the passage of time later reveals so much more.
On Sunday (6/8), as Kyle and his family having just days before returned from Napa, California, were preparing to leave the next day for England, Ireland and Africa for three weeks, he told me, "you gave me wanderlust."
Kyle spoke of the many places he and his family have visited in recent years and he talked of the trips to various parts of the world we made as a family many years ago. He explained that those trips gave him wanderlust, a desire to see the world. And that is what he is doing, as he and his wife Diane have taken their son Keoni, now 12, with them, and I suspect planting similar seeds of wanderlust within him.

In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.
