A short time ago, the glorious scent of roses in the warmth of the sun came through my screen door in a gentle ocean breeze.
As I looked out, I saw a bouquet of colors that included not only roses in oranges and yellows but begonias and hydrangeas in pinks and reds and whites. Their magnificence touched my heart.
If our hearts are open, nature in all of its beauty will guide us on our path to inner-peace and all it asks of us is to be aware and attentive to its magical call.

In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.
