In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Simple But Profound Buddha Insight

"We are shaped by out thoughts, we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves."

Thoughts are extremely powerful, whether as thoughts or in how we effect the lives of others. It is easy to be negative and critical for most of us think about and express through our words and body language, as well as our actions, the negativity that surrounds and absorbs us. News media commentators are an excellent example, as are many of us in our every day lives for anyone can be a critic or a gossip or a rumor monger.

But as we think, so shall our lives be.
