In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Going To The Movies With Cameron and Carina, 7/21/13


Last Sunday, 7/21/13 Anne and I took our little grandchildren Cameron 8 and Carina 5 to a family restaurant to lunch which included Hershey's milk shakes, then to the toy store where they could pick special gifts for themselves and then to the movies to see "Despicable Me 2."

For a little while during the movie, Cameron put his arm around Anne and Carina climbed up onto my lap.

They had so much fun, as did we, that they didn't want us to take them home just yet as they wanted to continue to be with us. And why wouldn't they feel that way for we had created a kid's paradise.

These are good times that bring so much happiness to everyone involved as they create memories to last a lifetime.
