In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

A Note From Carina

Yesterday (8/23/13) or the day before, our 5 year old grandchild Carina wrote the following note to her big brother Cameron age 8, after they bickered over a pencil:

"I'm sorry I will never talk to you again.

Love
Carina"

Their mother Maria posted this on her Facebook page and Anne and I are still laughing, as her note has also touched our hearts as it expressed the instant angst of a 5 year old.
