After arriving in New York, Anne and I had the pleasure of joining our son Kyle and daughter in law Diane for a late dinner at the Carnegie Deli.
The three of them each had one of the Deli's famed gigantic corned beef sandwiches and as a vegetarian I had scrambled egg whites, toast and some unsalted French fries.
But the key was to have the pleasure of their company. We also discussed our upcoming investment in some Buckhead (Atlanta) apartment complexes and so much more.
It was a great joy to me to have the company of each person at that table. And as usual I warmly greeted those around us to share with them the happiness I felt as a way to uplift their lives.

In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.
