Has my life had a purpose? It did if it made your life better. And for that I hope it has for I cared about your well-being even if we never formally met.
Everything I have ever accomplished, was accomplished as a team whether it was inspired through beings beyond those in body or through a dedicated group of employees or through my immediate family.
Never have I achieved anything on my own.
I had the great fortune of being surrounded by very talented people in whatever field of endeavor I tackled. And Anne and I were blessed with three sons each of whom was capable of making this a better, more compassionate world.
If you want your life to have greater meaning, give an unheralded helping hand to someone else. Be that pillar of strength they need and that compassionate loving listener we all need.
For in the end what matters is your ability to love, to heal, to forgive and to share the best of what is in you. And when the question is raised, did your life matter, others will answer in their hearts yes it did.

In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.
