Dear God: Please Grant Us The Power

Dear God, Please grant us the power to heal others. And by us I mean those who join me in spirit and unite with my soul.

Whether in healing others with love as shown by our actions and our words, or with gratitude expressed to them in response to the kind things they do so as to help them feel appreciated, or simply with the joy we bring to their lives, sometimes with as little as a warm smile.

Whether in healing others by being a good listener and caring enough about them to feel what they feel or to forgive the wrongs others may commit against us. May that forgiveness be shown in words and deeds.

Whether in healing others through our writings as we uplift their spirits or through those writings make a connection that reminds them they are not alone among their brethren, we care.

If you grant us the ability to physically and emotionally help to heal mankind as we strive to heal ourselves, it will be done with no financial exploitation or self-promotion. We would gratefully do this and not seek fame or other manifestations of the ego. The act of healing their pain and our own shall be our reward.

Dear God, I humbly express this prayer to you. Thank you for the generosity and support you bestow upon each of us.
