In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

"Scrappy Is Laying On Top Of Cameron"

This morning Anne's and my 6 year old granddaughter Carina called to say hello to us.

During the conversation, in her high pitched enthusiastic little voice, Carina said "Scrappy is laying on top of Cameron."

Scrappy is a tiny mutt, a rescue dog the family adopted last year and Cameron is Carina's 9 year old big brother.

Carina said that Scrappy is a really good dog, and seldom does he have "accidents" anymore. But on occasion, when he sees them get his leash to take him for a walk, he gets so happy with excitement he piddles on the floor.

Scrappy has turned out to be a warm and loving little guy, and a wonderful family friend.
