In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Gannon Celebrated His 5th Birthday

Gannon, Anne's and my, and Ben's and Connie's little grandson celebrated his 5th birthday on Monday (11/26/12) but his party was held on Saturday. There must have been about 10 or 12 little kids running in every which direction helping him celebrate.

There was a jumper for kids to bounce up and down in, a swing set and slides, a piñata for kids to break to shower themselves in candy and they played pin the tail on the donkey as well, all of this as they and their parents had plenty of barbecued food to eat.

But most of all Gannon and his big brother Brody, age 7 had their other grandfather Ben Haney to join them and the other kids with his timeless enthusiasm and laughter as master of ceremonies as everyone had a wonderful time.
