In this Journal, I will attempt to strip away my protective veneer to view and communicate honestly what the truth is as I perceive it. My intent is to grow, for without an honest evaluation of the truth, how else can one fully absorb life's more difficult lessons and benefit by them. If I do this in secret, then I am still hiding behind a protective veneer, so it is being published online. If you find this Journal, you are welcome to read it and hopefully grow from it as well.

Ikaika Was Born Today, Anne's And My New Grandson

Today, our new grandson baby Ikaika was born in Kharkiv, in the Ukraine and Anne and I are on Cloud 9, after we received the following message from Kyle today that was emailed to our family:

Dear Family,

Today (December 18th) our son, Ikaika Arnie Kazan was born via c-section.  In the Kazan tradition, he came into this world as a big boy, weighing 8 pounds and 9.5 ounces.  He measured over 20.5 inches.  Feel free to do your own metric conversion ;-)

We are very excited and will be making travel arrangements right away.

Sincerely,

Keoni, Diane and Kyle
